Purchased this for my 2014 Prius V because a pothole SWALLOWED the left side of my car, making me decree, "Oh my God, that sounded expensive!" I got a KYB complete strut assembly with spring, mount, and and boot, and this dropped right in like a champ. The car rides like new and these are the direct OE replacements. Ride height was not impacted that I could tell, steering doesn't bind on turns, body roll tightened up, and I didn't have to put life and limb at risk by messing with a giant spring. The total cost was about $50 more than ordering the strut, mount, and boot kit separately, and the extra cost could be attributed to the spring being included. I thought the cost was fair, considering the inclusion of the spring, and the time savings by not having to compress/decompress it to install the strut.
