I have 2003 GMC Envoy with the air-bag suspension. The first time I had problems with the air-bag, they leaked which caused the back end of the Envoy to sag. I paid about $600 to have them replaced. About a year later, the air pump died which cause the back end to sag again because without the pump there was no way to get the air into the air bags for the suspension. I didn't want to keep putting money into the air suspension so I decided to replace the air bags with these coils. I did them myself with the help of my friend and after reading some 'how-to' articles for Envoy. The result was very satisfactory. The back end is of correct heighth and I don't notice any difference in ride quality. I would recommend these coils as a direct replacement for the air bag suspension.
